Chelcie’s Designs: New in town

Growing up in town, an M-U Alumni and current resident, it only made sense for the new business owner to open her shop in downtown West Milton. “My name is Chelcie Berrey. I’m a single mom of two girls and two boys.” The new storefront is located 25 S. Miami St. in West Milton. Berrey loves making handmade items that are personalized to fit everyone’s tastes. 

“It all kinda just happened. I woke up one morning and saw a girl on TikTok making snow globe cups. After watching her for a week, I was like, I’m buying the stuff and we are doing that. I started doing heat press as well and now here we are.” 

Berrey went on to share the items she provides in her store: “T-shirts, hoodies, crew necks, sweat pants, customized cups, and candles. I’ll slowly be adding more things soon.” 

While Berrey has products ready to purchase in her store, she loves working with customers to personalize items. Teams, businesses, sports, and endless ideas can be created to customize cups and clothing. 

Every Bulldog fan, from infant to adult, can show up to the homecoming events this weekend in style. Order through Facebook, email (chelciesdesigns@gmail.com), or swing by the shop to check out the merchandise in person. 

Berrey expressed her excitement about the store opening. “I’m most excited about this new journey for my family especially, but I am excited I’m able to do this in the town I was raised in, that I went to school in and graduated in, and the town I get to raise my kids in. Once a bulldog, forever a bulldog.”
