TCAAC Annual Holiday Gathering & Art Gallery Presentation

A small crowd of board members, artists, and other guests enjoyed an evening of holiday music, great food, and art at the Tipp Center on Tuesday, December 17th for the annual Tipp City Area Arts Council holiday gathering. Art donated or purchased during the past two years for the TCAAC Permanent Art Gallery was also recognized. New art includes: “Rusted,” a pastel by Donna Brooks donated by Matt Buehrer; “Tippecanoe,” a photo donated by photographer Gina Duncan of Believe Photography; “Gallery around the Corner” by Aarthi Ilongovan and “Sam & Ethels” by Jennifer Walker, both purchased by the TCAAC Plein Air committee with funding from the Tipp City Foundation; “Eagle Rising,” a metal 3D sculpture donated by metal artist Marie McConnaughey from Springfield; “Wood Rose,” a 3D Carved Gourd created and donated by artist Judy Riesser; “Perspectives,” a photograph taken and donated by Lynn (Woodworth) Shirk-Terrell; “Turning the Soil,” an oil painting donated by Dayton artist Regina D. Whipp; and “Foggy Mirror,” a photo by Karl Yost from Yellow Springs, donated by Sheila Ingram. This art will be installed and recognized with individual artist plaques in the Permanent Art Gallery located in the inner hall at the Tipp Center. The gallery is open for public viewing Monday through Friday daily during business hours.
