Two New Episodes of News Makers Podcast released
Two new episodes of the locally-produced News Makers podcast were recently released, highlighting several exciting events and activities coming up over the next two months in Tipp City, Ohio.
Podcast host Greg Enslen brings you up close with the people shaping the future of our community—local newsmakers, business leaders, and community influencers who are making an impact in Tipp City and the surrounding areas. News Makers, the official podcast of the Tippecanoe Gazette, is available on all major podcasting platforms and on YouTube.
On episode 8, Tasha Weaver from the Downtown Tipp City Partnership gave listeners a sneak preview of the upcoming DTCP Annual Member and Awards Dinner. Tasha chatted about last year's event before reviewing a few of the great businesses who won. And this year’s event promises to be full of surprises!
The DTCP will be honoring past members, and Studio 50 is doing a photo booth at this year's event, which takes place on Monday, January 27, at the Tipp Center, located at 855 N 3rd Street, Tipp City. The evening begins at 5:00 p.m. with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, followed by dinner and entertainment at 5:45 p.m. The night's highlight, the presentation and awards ceremony, will take place at 7:00 p.m.
Episode Nine was a sneak peek at several big events coming to downtown Tipp City in January and February of this year. Tasha gave listeners an overview of the first few of an impressive list of events her organization published earlier in the year. Events coming up in early 2025 that were highlighted on this episode of the podcast included:
The January Coffee Chat to be held in conjunction with the Tipp City Chamber of Commerce on January 23
The DTCP Annual Meeting and Celebration, to be held at the Tipp Center on January 27
The innovative “Soup-er Bowl Week” event, planned for the first week of February, featuring soups from several local restaurants
The Bourbon and Chocolate event, taking place on February 7
For the Soup-er Bowl event, guests will be invited to warm up their game week with Tipp City’s tastiest soups! From February 3-8, participating downtown businesses will feature soups on their menus, inviting the community to vote for their favorites.
