Note from the Publisher

Hi again! Things are hopping here at the Gazette! It’s been a while since I gave an update. The paper is doing well, and we’re working hard to cover as many things as possible in and around Tipp City. We have a new TIPP LINE (get it?), so if you have news “tipps,” story ideas, or suggestions on things we should cover, email those to tippline@tippgazette.com and we’ll get on it!

And we’re expanding! While our focus remains Tipp City, we’ve made an active effort to expand our coverage in New Carlisle, Bethel and West Milton. And we’ve added news coverage for Vandalia! Our primary mission is covering Tipp news and news of interest to folks in Tipp City, but we’re also trying to grow our subscriber lists by spreading out a little bit. Let us know what you think!

Lastly, we love our advertisers! Our advertising manager Jody is out there every week, pounding the pavement, chatting with our current clients and looking for interested businesses and organizations who would like to get the word out about their products and services.

I sometimes remind people that the newspaper is, in fact, a for-profit business, and we really only have two sources of revenue: subscriptions and ads. If you like having a newspaper in our small town, please reach out to Jody at 937-669-2040 or jody@tippgazette.com and she’ll be excited to chat with you. We’re also planning a full-color Fall Sports Preview in late August. We’re reserving space now for advertisers, so get your business in front of lots of readers by booking an ad today!

Well, that’s it for now. Again, thank you for your subscriptions and your support of local journalism. If there is anything you’d like to see in the paper in the coming year, or anything you’d like to see fixed, please write me personally at greg@tippgazette.com.
