ComMUnity News for May 8, 2024

·         Students from Ms. Black's STEM classes toured Sinclair’s Automation & Robotics and Mechanical Engineering Technology departments. Students were able to hydro-dip wooden guitars, and built little fidget gears with the mechanical engineering department. They also saw full-sized FANUC robots in the automation & robotics lab! 

·         Mrs. Pratt's Math Model and Reasoning class tested their bungie cords at the track bleachers. 

·         Students in Mrs. Brady's Art through Fashion classes have been working on a fun project creating sock dolls and tie dye shirts.

·         The Elementary students had a blast at Miami County Park District Lost Creek Reserve! They enjoyed the Banana Slug Festival. They met incredible birds, joined in on songs, explored the beautiful park, braved the zipline and made incredible memories.

·         Family Fest was a huge success! Families flocked to the school for activities and time together as a community. La La Sugarland gave out free cotton candy. Over 30 community resources were on site as well as food and fun! 

·         Bulldogs in Mrs. Barney's class are on their way to becoming expert readers! They played an exciting game of "Heads Up" using words from their reading lesson. Bulldogs took turns being the person to spell and the person to read!
