Congratulations Principal Henderson! Celebrating 35 years of dedication, passion, and student success! Mrs. Henderson has been of service to thousands of students in the Miami Valley. We are extra grateful that Mrs. Henderson has served the last ten years of her career at Milton-Union Elementary as a Bulldog. Mrs. Henderson walked the halls one last time as students and staff cheered her on with love. Thank you, Mrs. Henderson, for learning and leading with heart. Your legacy echoes in every student's melody. Here's to a well-deserved encore in retirement!

Congratulations to Carly Zimmer and Ava Berberich. They were each awarded the Governor's Merit Scholarship! The Governor’s Merit Scholarship (GMS) is designed to incentivize Ohio’s top graduating high school seniors to attend a college or university in the state. The GMS is offered to the top 5% of graduating seniors in each of Ohio’s public and chartered, nonpublic (private) high schools.

Miami County Park District Visits Elementary
The 4th graders had a special visit from the Miami County Parks District! They are participating in a special program this year called Banana Slugs. The focus is on different types of landforms and the effect that weathering, erosion, and deposition has on different types of landforms. For the first part of the program, the Miami County Park District came in to help teach the song they will be performing in April at the Banana Slug Festival. Students also spent time making our costume and creating our shakers for the song.
