Local volunteers package meals at Abiding Christ Lutheran Church

On Saturday, January 25, 156 volunteers packed 36,640 servings/bags of rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and vitamins through the Lutheran Saints in Ministry, a consortium of Lutheran Churches in the Dayton/Fairborn/West Milton/ Donnelsville/Vandalia/and Xenia areas.  An assembly station consisted of 10 associates with 14 stations, all packing the nutritious meals that will be shipped to Ukraine’s hungry children, displaced people, refugees, and families by Lifeline Christian Mission in Columbus.   The cost of the meals was donated by the LSIM churches, individuals, etc.
