Superintendent Moran calls for hiring construction manager
At the August Work Session, Superintendent Moran said a project as large and costly as the new PK-8 building and associated projects need to have a dedicated, full-time, school-construction-savvy project manager. Also known as an owner representative, who would look out for Tipp School’s best interests for all three years of the project.
Board of Education reach agreement with teachers’ union
After many weeks of negotiation, a three-year agreement was reached between the Board and the teachers’ union, the TCEA (Tipp City Education Association).
NC City Council member and former Tippecanoe Gazette publisher Dale Grimm passed away at age 74
Local residents and city leaders mourned the loss of New Carlisle City Council Member Dale Grimm, who passed away on Saturday, August 3, at the age of 74.
Tipp Police Department hosts National Night Out at Kyle Park
The Tipp City Police Department hosted its fourth annual National Night Out celebration at Kyle Park on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Approximately 30-40 local agencies, organizations, and services participated in this year’s Night Out event.
Council votes to fund CIC
Council members voted to transfer $150,000 in total from the City of Tipp City, with $100,000 going to the Tipp Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) for seed funding of the Revolving Loan Program and $50,000 to professional services related to the Uptown Redevelopment contract.
City began work on Interchange Beautification Project
City of Tipp City kicks off the start of their Interchange Beautification Project. This project will involve improvements to the entrance and exit ramps leading into and out of Tipp City.
