Versailles athlete recipient of silent auction proceeds

On December 28, sports editor Jim Dabbelt presented Versailles student athlete Brooke Bergman and her parents with a check for $4,750.  The presentation followed the Tipp/Versailles girls basketball game.

Bergman was seriously injured in an automobile accident in the fall and was the recipient of a silent auction at the 4 Decade Tipoff Classic held in November 2024.  Both Tippecanoe and Versailles girls basketball teams participated in the Tipoff Classic. (Carla Ungerecht photo)
