From the City Manager: December News

From Eric Mack, City Manager

Industrial Sanitary Sewer Project - Progress continues on this construction project. Please note that the contractor will not be on-site between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Work will resume in 2025, with the project scheduled for completion by March 2025.

Uptown Redevelopment - The City is diligently advancing redevelopment efforts in the uptown area. With the Tipp Plaza redevelopment and the comprehensive plan update kicking off early next year, I look forward to sharing additional updates in 2025 as these projects progress.

Tippecanews - The first issue of Tippecanews since 2021 has been completed! It will be included in the utility bills received in January and is also accessible on the City’s website.

DTCP Annual Member Meeting & Awards Night - Tickets are now on sale for the Downtown Tipp City Partnership’s annual event. This event will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Tipp Center (855 N. 3rd Street) to honor the businesses and volunteers that make downtown Tipp City special. For more details, please contact Tasha Weaver at DTCP.

Serve Your Community - Tipp City is seeking dedicated residents to serve on various City Boards, including:

- Board of Zoning Appeals

- Cable Access Commission

- Restoration & Architectural Board

- Tree Board

Interested residents should complete an application and submit it to Janice Bates, Clerk of Council. Make a difference in Tipp City!

My Tipp City Mobile Application - I want to continue to encourage everyone to download the app to stay updated on city services and news. It’s a great way to stay up on City news and also be notified quickly during City emergencies like power outages, road closures, etc. Scan the QR code to get started.
