From the Publisher

Hi, it’s Greg again! Did you know our website allows folks to submit Letters to the Editor? With the election coming up in a couple of months, we encourage people to write in and give us your opinions. Sorry, no anonymous submissions! Go to www.tippgazette.com, and when you mouse over the “Submit” button, a bunch of options will pop up, including “Submit a Letter to the Editor.” A simple form will appear, allowing you to email us your letter. And, of course, you can still submit a written letter to Tipp Gazette, Attn: Letters to the Editor, P.O. Box 84, Tipp City. We’ll get it in the paper ASAP unless it doesn’t meet our guidelines, which are printed in every paper.

While you’re on the website, check out some of the other things you can submit: “Pet of the Week” (no one has sent us a pet in a while!!!) and event listings for my “What to Do in Tippecanoe” column and the companion Community Calendar on the website. Visitors can also use the website to purchase an obituary, classified ad, business card ad, or to purchase an ad on the Tippecanoe Gazette and VisitTippCity websites.

If you haven’t checked it out, VisitTippCity.org is my tourism website for Tipp, and includes up-to-date information on most of the restaurants, shops, and lodgings (hotels and Airbnb’s) in town. Send it to guests ahead of time so they know where they want to eat and shop when they get here!! And if you’re a Frank Harper Mysteries fan (you know who you are), there’s a new page on there with the fictional and real-world area locations for scenes from the five-book series. Book six is coming soon!!!

Well, that’s it for now. Again, thank you for your subscriptions and your support of local journalism. If there is anything you’d like to see in the paper in the coming year, or anything you’d like to see fixed, please write me personally at greg@tippgazette.com.
