*Breaking News* Tipp City set to offer City Manager position to internal candidate Eric Mack

Eric Mack, Tipp City Director of Municipal Services, will likely be offered the position of City Manager at the Monday, June 3rd Council meeting. He would be replacing Tim Eggleston, who is retiring at the end of this month. A majority of Council members must vote to offer Mack the position of City Manager.

Mack has worked for Tipp City for a total of 12 years, including Director of Municipal Services for six years, Deputy Director of Municipal Services for nearly three years, and Utilities Project Manager/GIS Coordinator for three years.

Mack appears to have already signed an Employment Agreement that will pay him $150,000 a year. He will be covered by the same health, dental, vision, and disability plans, enrolled in the same group life insurance plan as other Tipp non-union City employees, and granted 200 hours of vacation per year.

Mack will be provided a vehicle allowance of $500 per month and, if needed, $25,000 in relocation and housing assistance to relocate to Tipp City. Mack must reside in Miami County or a directly adjoining county during his employment as City Manager.
