Third Thursday in West Milton

By Laura Williams

On Thursday, June 20, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., a Third Thursday event will be taking place in West Milton hosted by the non-profit organization Project Revival. This event takes place every third Thursday of the month from April to October with the purpose of promoting small businesses and bringing the community of West Milton together. Several food and craft vendors will be in attendance to showcase their businesses and offerings as well as a live music artist.

Mrs. Copp, the leader of Project Revival and owner of the small business ReVive It, has advised that food vendors such as Timeless Tacos' with their classic Mexican tacos and fajitas, Dennis Delk's wood-fired pizza and ice cream, and Lumpia Queen with Philippine dishes like chicken pancit and Pork sticks will be present to offer their food for purchase. Home Towne Bakes will also be open to provide sweet treats.

Additionally, craft vendors will be selling their unique handmade items, including hand poured candles, jewelry, baked goods, crocheted items, health aids, clothing, paintings, wood flowers, and more. Live music will be provided by talented artist Stephen Ramos.

This event will be held on Washington Street in West Milton this month and next, as there is a road closure on State Route 571.

Project Revival hosts many other events throughout the year, like the 4th of July festival, Rock the Hill in August, and the Tree lighting in December. Donations are greatly appreciated as they help fund these events, which uplift the community.
