On Saturday, June 15, the Tipp-Monroe Optimists hosted their annual Student Appreciation Breakfast with their special guests Keenan Melton, 2024 scholarship recipient, and his parents Carrie and Jim; Colby Hake, 2024 Tippecanoe Middle School Student-of-the Year and her parents Kari and Dan; Octagon advisor Raeanne Wirrig and Octagon members Merrick Johnston and Evan Chessir.  Keenan will begin his freshman year at USC this fall, Colby will enter her freshman year at Tippecanoe High School and Merrick and Evan will be attending Ohio University this fall. The breakfast was held at Zion Lutheran Church and catered by Sam & Ethel's Restaurant.
