ComMUnity News for May 15

News from the West Milton area:

·         The 7th & 8th Grade Choir performed Friday at the O.M.E.A. Large Group Contest and earned an Excellent rating! Congratulations to all the students as they worked hard to prepare for this performance!

·         Sixth-grade students ended their JTI journey with a pizza party, video recap of the weekend, and participated in group activities. Thank you to Mrs. Garrett and many other volunteers for this great opportunity for the students.

·         The 8th grade band also performed at the OMEA event. They received the second highest overall rating of II. Each of the three judges gave a rating and they are averaged. Two judges gave a II, and one judge gave a I (the highest rating.) They did a great job.

·         The 3rd Grade Bulldogs had a blast at Carillon Historical Park! They were able to dive into Ohio history. From uncovering the secrets of the Wright Brothers’ inventions to marveling at the vintage trains, the young historians dove headfirst into Dayton’s rich history with enthusiasm and curiosity! 

·         Third grade choir performance highlights. The students had an outstanding performance showcasing folk songs from around the world! From catchy tunes to heartwarming melodies, the young performers truly brought the spirit of diverse cultures to life on stage. Thank you, Mrs. Farrell, for fostering a love for music and cultural appreciation in our community!

·         Thanks to Ms. Kimball's Credentialing Capstone Class, the students are now Forklift Certified and ready to take on future challenges in their chosen industries!
