Tipp male charged with felonious assault

On November 29, 2024, at 3:04 a.m., Tipp City police responded to the 700 block of Comanche Ln. on the report of shots fired.

A 21-year-old victim was treated and released from an area hospital. An 18-year-old victim had surgery, and his condition has been upgraded to stable condition.

Javin J. William, 21-years-old, of Tipp City, was taken into custody. He has been charged with one count of felonious assault and is currently incarcerated in the Miami County Jail. The police department’s press release listed additional charges are forthcoming.
