Ribbon cutting celebrates Stitched by Liv and Em’s new location

The Tipp City Chamber of Commerce welcomed Stitched by Liv and Em to the local business community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, November 1. This new venture, launched by the mother-daughter team Emily Philpot and Olivia Frederick, brings unique, handcrafted clothing, accessories, and long-arm quilting services to the Tipp City area.

Stitched by Liv and Em offers more than custom-made orders; they provide ready-to-wear clothing and quilting services that cater to a range of needs. Emily and Olivia’s sewing journey is a lifelong passion rooted in their family history and decades of experience. Emily, who recently retired from teaching high school English, has been creating custom-made pieces since 2004, even designing a bag for the Indiana Governor's Arts Award in 2008. Olivia, having grown up immersed in the craft, received her first sewing machine in 2012 and continued honing her skills as she accompanied her husband through various military postings, including Savannah, GA, Clarksville, TN, and Germany.

In 2025, Stitched by Liv and Em will begin offering sewing lessons to share their expertise with the community and inspire others to learn this timeless skill. Their commitment to quality and craftsmanship is evident in every piece they create, from bags and wallets to custom and ready-to-wear clothing.

The Tipp City Chamber of Commerce is proud to support small businesses like Stitched by Liv and Em, which enrich the local community with creativity and dedication. We encourage everyone to visit their new store and experience the unique offerings this talented team brings to Tipp City.

Stitched by Liv and Em is located at 34 S. Second St., Tipp City.
