You better not pout, you better not cry! The last night for Santa and Friends is Friday, December 22, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. at 5486 Worley Road in Tipp City. For the past 20 years, the Smith Family has lit up the town with their festive Christmas lights and blow-up displays.

 Their first display began with only 2,000 lights, but has grown tremendously to approximately 30,000 LED lights and various holiday blow-ups. This year’s set-up took about 45 days and 500 hours, and was completed with the help of the entire family - Greg, Stephanie, Logan, Jade, Devin, Dalton and Kourtnee - and many neighbors and friends.

“Stephanie and I have always tried to give back to our communities. When we ran our companies, we supported programs that focused on children, education, the environment and the military,” said Greg Smith, owner of property.

“Once we sold the companies and I retired completely, we felt this was a great way to still focus on kids and families while being fun for the whole family, friends, neighborhood and community while focusing on something positive – which the world needs more of,” said Smith.

This year, the family has seen about 1,000 visitors, and around 300-400 visitors for Santa and Friends night. Since 2020, the Smiths have delivered nearly 500 Santa letters and gifts and expect to deliver another 300 this year.

“The Santa Letters are something we all look forward to. Each year, we receive one or two that are simply tear-jerkers and remind us just how fortunate and lucky we are,” said Smith. “We thank everyone for always being polite and respectful of the property and displays. We love doing this and helping bring a little bit of joy to the kids and community,” said Smith.

The event is free and the lights and blow-up displays run every night through January.
